Thanks! Very happy with it, and yeah I think I got pretty lucky... Dealer said they could get another allocation on the next day if they sold theirs that day, and it had been there for a month, so they had their own incentives to let it go.
Meanwhile where I am, you can't even get a test drive on a gx.
I guess when the quantities are low and demand is limited by the price there are opportunities for things like this...

What state are you in? It seems like anything Lexus is popular here in Texas.
Bay area in NorCal... Typically things are very expensive here, and other dealerships I went to didn't even let me test drive (used) lxs! Maybe this is an overtrail specific thing since everyone wants the gx overtrail?

That is strange as that mark up was from OC and I always thought NorCal would have huge mark ups as well. Congrats on your purchase and hope you enjoy the wonderful off-road trails out there. Loving ours out here in Austin, TX but not many trails like we used to find in SoCal.

Been waiting since June of 2025 for a 700H F Sport in Manganese Luster WITHOUT the appearance package.
This will be the 5th LX I have purchased from Jim Hudson Lexus in Columbia, SC. My 2019 LX is at 80K miles and it is time to get a new one. The mangers & sales folks I used to deal with are GONE. Used to be you could order one from the mothership. Then, the dealer would go out and get what I wanted within a month or so. Now, whatever is at that Lexus Dealership is what they have for sale.
I had to go to the GM to get them to find one coming into their territorry. After a $2,500 deposit & agreeing to an additional $1,000 Transportation cost of the vehicle from a different Lexus Dealer 165 miles away in another state I may finally get a 2025 700H F Sport in Manganese Luster in Nov or Dec.
Yes, it supposed to have the Mark Levinson Sound System.
My wife also has a Lexus. She is on her 3rd one. This Dealership has always very good & responsive to us in the past. Guess New younger management/New approach to loyal customers? Guess I just got old. Never realized it had become this hard/expensive to get this truck/SUV.

Welcome to the site @garyculb18 --- yes it seems that since the pandemic everything has changed. Quality has gone down, so has service quality.... customer service as well. There are a few threads here on the forum with people not so happy with the Levinson sound system as well. I hope your loyalty to Lexus is rewarded and you love your vehicle! I wish that Lexus could keep up with the demand but it seems they are having a hard time!

Yep, I agree. Was very disappointed with the 600LX. Been looking at the 700h ever since the first advertisement. Requested my Lexus dealer call me if they got one in. No calls but, saw they had 3 new Overlooks. Got to drive an 700h Overlook in May. The power was impressive.
Requested a Luxury or F-Sport in Gray. All the 700h LX models I was considering were coming into our port with the Black Appearance Packages.
Not my cup of tea.As usual Lexus is now flooding the market for X-Mas season sales. Saw what I wanted in other states but, those Lexus Dealers would not trade vehicles/negotiate with mine. Estimated it would cost me about $2,500 to bring a new LX from out state to SC.
I guess I should not complain. Really Looking forward to the new model.

Went by my Lexus Dealer today for service on my 2019 LX. Turned out I was all wrong. My 2025 Lexus 700h F Sport was made in Japan in August-September. It is entering the West Coast port in Portland, OR. Then, it is headed to Cincinnati, Ohio. This is 558 miles away from Columbia, SC.
Jim Hudson Lexus of Columbia, SC had to go outside their territory and to a West Coast delivery to find a 2025 Maganese Luster 700h F Sport. That is pretty amazing. Supposed to be here in November. As a loyal customer since 1996 on his 5th LX- Thanks Guys!
