Looking to buy LX 700h Overtrail - Best time to buy

I probably want a 2027 and wondering if negotiating and buying it in December 2026 will get me a better price, even if I have to wait a few months for it to arrive. Any strategies and recommendations are greatly appreciated. Lastly, I thought I could get this with just 2 rows but seeing the official Lexus build function online shows power fold-flat 50/50-split third-row seats as standard. Did they change this for 2026? I thought I remember being able to purchase the Overtrail with just 2 rows. I don't want a third row!

my 2 cents is you should NOT get a 3 row. The packaging in the 3rd row with the hybrid battery is horrid. I ordered a 2 row 26' and the space is fantastic. When i picked up it up I was so glad I did. go on the lexus website and select semi aniline seating for 5 and it should knock 1750 off of the price. Also not all dealers want to do this. some will tell you that you cant. dont buy that. you absolutely can build it out.

Also if you plan on getting the 2 row I dont think that waiting will be all that advantageous in terms of discounts since it is not something just readily available on lot. I'd say try to order it when you're ready. dont focus too much on model year because there likely will not be a difference.

Hey proponet5274. Thanks for the great tips. I didn't realize the "Semi-aniline leather-trimmed seating for five" was how to go about it. I actually thought that was somehow a downgrade from the included leather, but now see what it truly means. I can get 2 rows and save money ... call that a win-win! Sounds like I will just order it when ready, which will be within the month or two.

My salesperson said OT’s are not available without the third row seats. I know different because I found two of them online in other states. They won’t discount them either so I may head up north to another dealer in state who does
