Hi,

I am new to the forum and I was just curious if anybody has a 2 row LX 700 H Overtrail allocated or being built presently. I currently have a LX 700 H being built tentatively due to arrive in march, but it is a 3 row and after seeing a video of the cargo area in a 2 row, I much prefer a 2 row LX 700 H Overtrail. Just curious if anyone out there is in the process of having a 2 row built right now. I was told about 2 weeks ago that the 2 row LX 700 H’S would not be arriving until late 2025 or early 2026 ? I was wondering if anyone else had heard this ? If there are any 2 row’s that anybody is aware of that dealership is receiving that is not sold, I am very interested. My problem with the third row is the battery taking up so much space in the cargo area. The other thing I am disappointed in is the 18 gallon fuel tank, everything else about the vehicle I love.

I currently own a 2023 LX 600 F SPORT that I absolutely love and it is my favorite daily driver do everything vehicle.

Any input or help would be appreciated.

Thank You.

I hope someone else chimes in and wish I could answer for your. Either way, welcome to the site, and I'll get you set up as a deposit holder!

Hey yeah I think all of them or most of the first ones are 3 row. Mine is also three row and it’s at the port right now. Has been there for about a week getting inspected since it’s the first one here.

This has been posted in another thread. Pics of the 2 seater cargo area.

I suspect that 5 seater Overtrails will be more available than I’ve seen some people here think they will be. The overlanding/off-road market is growing leaps and bounds and this looks to be an effort by Lexus to capture that at the highest level ($$). We’ll see.

Are you happy with the third row and the cargo area with the battery placement ?

What color did you get ?

I haven’t seen it yet in person since it’s at port. My wife is pregnant with our third kid so yeah I did want the third row.

I didn’t get to pick anything. The color is earth color one. Like in the video. For any camping and stuff I plan to put it up on the rack or hook up my small trailer for extended camping. Overlanding my wife hates and my kids are too young to enjoy so I will go with buddies. I don’t mind the third row. Plus they fold down anyhow.

Mine is earth as well. I love the LX, I just am not crazy about the sacrificed Cargo area.

By the way, congratulations on the car and the kid.

Believe you were in Wa too. I was told all 3 GM’s of the Seattle area Lexus dealers got together and decided on which addons they would do for all LX’s. From memory it was Ceramic coat, windshield coverage and protective film for the front area. Where you told the same?

Yes having less room back there sucks for sure. And thank you. we both thought we were done with kids like 3 years ago. Unexpected surprise. Also me trading in my Porsche for this bigger suv was unexpected lol

One thing that helped me accept the smaller gas tank. When you figure what mileage this 700h gets compared to the previous V8 Land Cruisers with 24-gal tanks...the range is almost identical. I'd have to go back and check but this 700h might have a bit more range between fill-ups.

Hi, I have a deposit on a three row as well. I am planning on removing the third row seat. Looking at the videos, this should result in more usable space in front of the battery. Based on what I have been able to figure out. The usable space from the open tail gate is the same as width and 3 inches shorter than my 100 Series. This loss of height is more than compensated by the fact that I can now put more in the back and still have full visibility with the digital rear view mirror. I plan to make the third row into a Lexus themed love seat for my den. I will post more once I can get started on the real thing.

That sounds pretty cool, definitely post up some pictures!

Just curious, I have a three row arriving tentatively in march and after seeing pictures and watching videos I would rather have the 2 row, but I am being told that there will be no 2 rows in the United States until late 25 or early 26.

So my question is, if you remove the third row does the 3 rows become an almost flat cargo floor like the 2 row ? It looks like in pictures and videos that there is quite a difference between the floor heights in the 2 row and 3 row. The 2 row seems to fold flat into the floor as if there was no battery at all with just a slight raising of the floor similar to the LC 250.

The battery is in the same place on both the two and three row versions. The box you see from the back in the three row is the seat box. What is to be seen, is what is under that box when it is removed.

When you remove the third row seating can you remove the box to have the same effect as the 2 row ?

That is my expectation, and I will know for sure when I get my vehicle in a few weeks. What is to be seen is whether it will be necessary to fabricate a floor section if any of the battery components become exposed when removing the Third Row. As Mentioned above, my plan will be to install a drawer system after removing the seats and so perhaps the structure of the drawers my provide adequate protection. It would be great if anyone else on this forum can chime in if they have any direct knowledge on this subject.
