Do you expect to have your vehicle before June? Have they given you solid arrival dates?

Yes, I have one on order. In fact, I have the VIN #, but no estimated delivery date yet, except they say it will arrive in plenty of time for my trip.

I have been told by multiple dealers that the third row delete will not be available in the US for the model 2025 year. Unfortunate, because the Lexus solution for dropping the third row consists of a flimsy shelf that takes up an inordinate amount of cargo space. Guess I will wait for 2026. Perhaps Lexus will do something about the front snout with a refresh. Even the spindle grill would be a big improvement.

Here she is. I will let you all know in a few days regarding my assessment on what it will take to remove the third row. It’s nicer up close, than I had imagined.

It came in March 13th. In good condition and with the options I ordered. That 3rd row seat needs to go - the wasted space is terrible. And the rear cargo area is so high up now, too. But it's super quiet and rides great. Stereo is not that good (see my other post).

Just curious, I have a three row arriving tentatively in march and after seeing pictures and watching videos I would rather have the 2 row, but I am being told that there will be no 2 rows in the United States until late 25 or early 26.

So my question is, if you remove the third row does the 3 rows become an almost flat cargo floor like the 2 row ? It looks like in pictures and videos that there is quite a difference between the floor heights in the 2 row and 3 row. The 2 row seems to fold flat into the floor as if there was no battery at all with just a slight raising of the floor similar to the LC 250.

Just to help out those looking for the two-row versions (in case this isn’t mentioned elsewhere); there is a quirk of the Lexus option list that people find confusing, even Lexus staff often miss this so you may have to double-check them on it. Because the 3-row is the default factory state, every vehicle will show as “Overtrail 3-row” in the features list no matter what. Then, immediately above or below that will show “Overtrail 2-Row Package with 5-Passenger seating.” In some dealer internal tracking, that option line starts with “Semi-aniline leather trimmed seating…” and the sales team just sees “3-Row” and “leather” that they are used to seeing, and they don’t understand that the two-row trim you are looking for actually applies to. the VIN in question.

I converted my LX 700H from a 3 row to a 2 row and it worked out great. I came from a Sequoia with 129 cubic feet of space so in comparison it is still small, Internet says 62 cubic feet. It's crazy that they were actually even able to accomplish this feat, because the LX is as big in outer dimensions as the Sequoia. We just got a 2027 Kia Telluride hybrid for my wife and it has 90 cubic feet of cargo despite being visibly smaller on the outside. There is nothing practical or utilitarian about the LX. The gas mileage is horrible, the cargo space is small, it only takes premium. But I still love it.
