Got a call from the dealer who told me my Graphite OT was on a truck from the port, then follow up call that delivery delayed a couple of weeks as a result of port inspection. I had vision of my car falling off the truck, but dealership GM said they found a rear door seal that wasn’t perfect and needed to be replaced. As long as there wasn’t any damage that required paint work I am not too concerned. But I thought it was curious that the car would pass inspection at the factory then have this issue arise at the port inspection. I guess I should be pleased that they are doing inspections at the port facility.

Better to find out now than later on and have to go through a song and dance with the dealership. The delay sucks but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel!
