After a frustrating experience with my local dealer I was fortunate enough to get in touch with Eddy Ademovic of Harvey Lexus in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He exemplified what I would expect from a sales rep at a luxury dealership. I never would have considered buying a $100k+ vehicle sight unseen and 2000 miles from home. However, not only did Eddy offer a competitive price, he allayed my concerns at every step, and actually appreciated my business ( as opposed to my local dealer who treated me as if he were doing me a favor, in spite of the fact that Inhad purchased a new GX550 and paid top dollar for it less than a year ago). I cannot recommend Harvey Lexus and Eddy Ademovic in particular highly enough.
The LX is head and shoulders above the GX in every way, except perhaps styling. I am not a fan of the third row set up as it seems like an afterthought. I would have done a third row delete if I could have. After waiting almost a year for my GX I was very disappointed after having driven my LC200 for several years. There really is no comparison. It is a shame that Toyota is calling the Prado a Land Cruiser in the US.
