2027 Lexus LX600/LX700h: What Features and Changes Do You Want to See?

With the 2027 model year announcement coming soon, what changes are you hoping Lexus brings to the 2027 LX600 / LX700? Let’s hear your thoughts!

1. Need a Mute Button on the steering wheel
2. Put the Seat Massage buttons somewhere more convenient
3. Make it possible to TOTALLY disable the S-Flow setting on the HVAC
4. Cameras need to stay active up to about 15MPH off-road
5. Lexus OEM Dash Cam should have a rear-view option
6. (Not my preference) Some have said they wish the Hybrid Engine Off could be disabled so it could run as a non-hybrid (like an LX600) when desired.
7. Have a sun visor like previous models. Fold main visor to side and then fold secondary visor down the windshield.

All great suggestions. The biggest issues I have had:

• 17.5 gas tank- Ridiculous; Replaced with 30 gallon gas tank
• 3rd Row delete; should be an option from the manufacturer; on waiting list for new aluminum model from Air Down Gear Up. Makes absolutely no sense for an F Sport to have a 3rd row.

Someone at the mother ship needs to receive some walking papers.

No 3rd row
No hybrid. hate it. useless and annoying.
get rid of cooling console and replace with a normal console or at least an option.
Better placement of cup holders and a few more.
Everyone that has ridden in back seat complains of the buttons/fold on the seat. very uncomfortable. fix it.

Otherwise, love it.

Hybrid is FAR FROM USELESS. It makes this thing a bullet from the get-go and more powerful for passing. And it helps around town mileage some. I DO AGREE though it would be nice if you could disable it if desired.

Bad wording on my part. It's not totally useless. After 12,000 miles, the hybrid just hasn't impressed me. Yes, it's quick (almost too much torque) but the constant on/off is annoying in the city. Smooth driving takes some practice in anything other than comfort mode. Don't think I would choose the hybrid, if it was an option. I do love the subdued luxury and plan to keep her.

Ahhh...totally get it now. And you're not alone on the hybrid on/off. Try driving around town in S+. Impossble for me. The thing zooms at thhe touch of the gas.

Glad I am not the only one that hates the Auto on/off. There is no switch so, cannot find a vendor that has a plug & play to dsable it. If anyone finds one please let me know. Bet it would be a big seller. Best,

For the Overtrail trim:

1) Option to swap out the center 12v cigarette lighter port for an Anderson SB50 connector. It's an Overtrail and therefore intended for outdoors use, which means 12v connections should be Anderson sockets. Offer it as part of a Great Outdoors package that they can overcharge us on just like they do for floor mats and cargo nets.

2) Auxiliary fuel tank option. They are unlikely to make the existing tank larger, but for the Australian market Toyota offers auxiliary tanks as factory options because it's expected. With the new Landcruiser 300 gas/hybrid going on sale over there, Australian buyers might be expecting the auxiliary gas (petrol) tank option just like the others - meaning maybe one exists now, or is about to? I know aftermarket outfits make these now, but having an OEM unit as a factory install would be the goal.

3) Get rid of the cool box. It's redundant to the real coolers most people already use and it wastes valuable space.

Not to be negative, but I doubt we'll ever see such a device. MANY MANY things go into the CPU's decision when to cut the engine and when to restart it. Throttle, holding speed back going down hills, amount of electric motor being used and at what speeds, communication with hybrid system and state of charge, blah blah. There's a lot to be monitored before the CPU makes it's decision. A tradition Start/stop is easy. Stop at 0MPH then Restart. Hybrids are not the same creatures.
