How do you compare Lexus LX 700h hybrid with to previous LX models in terms of features and usability? I have heard that LX 700h’s hybrid system is quite advanced, but I am curious know what specific features make this model stand out. Does it offer better fuel efficiency and power? What are the other benefits worth noting?

The LX 700h makes 457HP to 409 HP in the LX 600. And it even uses less fuel while making more power. More torque and more power with less fuel consumption? What’s not to like?

The LX 700h comes with a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with an electric motor. It marks up a total of 457 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. The LX 600's come with a 409 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque in which the LX 700h offers something better.

It has a powerful V6 engine combined with electric motors to give excellent performance. But one would think the fuel consumption for that will be high.
It is not the case, the fuel efficiency is adequately maintained.

An advanced feature no doubt.

The 700h is the first of it's kind. If the hybrid system fails you are not stranded. It has a typical starter and alternator that will start the vehicle so you can get to where you're going just like a non-hybrid. Typical Land Cruiser thinking...build a vehicle to get your there and back from almost anywhere.

I hope they've gotten through their trouble period. Between the engine failures, transmission failures and everything else on the Tundra, Land Cruiser, Tacoma's, etc.... they are due for a good string of luck I'm hoping.
