Greetings all!!
My wife and I have been Toyota/Lexus for the last couple of decades, with the exception of a Jeep that we had when we were full time RV'ing, and I've always wanted an LX. In November, I purchased a new 2025 GX550 Luxury+ and loved it! While recently servicing my wife's NX at the dealership, they had a pre-loved 2025 LX700h Overtrail. It had only been there for a couple of days, and I was surprised it was there at all, so didn't expect it would be there long, so I grabbed my sales guy and took it out for a spin. It was incredible, of course. After several weeks of negotiating, and settling in my mind on a number that I never expected them to agree to - I finally have my LX!
To be clear, the GX 550 was/is an outstanding vehicle, but I simply could not get over the ride and the other luxurious extras in the LX. The differences are more than minor, they are incredible... to me anyway. Especially since I got it as a CPO, and at a significant discount.
Hobbies? I guess work is my hobby since I feel like I'm working all the time. I love to play bass guitar, but never seem to have time for it, lol. My wife is retired, so I guess she has hobbies for the both of us. I used to love to play racquetball, but haven't found courts or anyone to play here in Havre de Grace, MD.
What's the best thing you've done for yourself with your LX? I'd like to find a fitted cool box tray like I had in my GX, and a fitted cover for the center console armrest (to protect the armrest), but haven't found anything that fits properly... yet. Always looking for gadgets, tricks, and tips for my new LX - would love to hear what other people have/have done.
