Cruise control not working

As the topic states, mine is not functional. I can turn it on and even switch between adaptive and regular Cruise but when I press the set button I get a warning on the instrument cluster that cruise control is unavailable and see manual.

I’ve looked for anything that would cause this but no luck. I have a service appointment later this week to figure out if it’s user error or something is wrong.

Anyone experience this besides me?

Possibly heavy rain or dirt on the front sensor

User error! There are six buttons to operate the cruise control whereas my other Lexus models have five. The driving assist button which sets the speed whereas most other cars use the +/- as set and resume.
Lesson learned.
