I've seen that feedback a few times. The word most people use is gaudy. I see it a bit as well. I'm waiting to see if it grows on me. Short of that, making the chrome either matte black (depending on car color) or even black chrome will help a lot. I had a set of black chrome wheels one time in the past and really loved the look.

I prefer the toned-down GX 550 grille, but I'm interested in seeing how the 700h in the Overtrail trim looks before making a final judgment.

These looks very beautiful. How can you not love this...? Even though I haven't owned any of the previous Lexus brand, this one definitely looks good enough for me to have second thoughts about it.
