Yep! The dealers are used to the hybrid's function as they have many models. No big deal to them. The dead giveaway is to WATCH YOUR TACH...it tells the truth. RUMBLE! LOL
OK gang...let's put this to bed. This is completely NORMAL. No driveshafts, no this or that. Simply put your display onto the setting where you can see the tachometer. You'll see the tach drop to off (0 RPM) every time the engine gets shut off from coming to a stop, going downhill...
It's killing me folks! Still haven't been able to go run any trails. My lovely wife has had some health issues lately. But we're close to heading out.

Sorry Doc. Not the case. There is no way to override the engine dropping out while driving. We do not have a On/Off Mode like non-hybrids. S and S+...engine is off at a red light and going downhill, etc.
We found it UNFORGIVABLE for the GX 2-Row to not have rear vents in a $75-85K vehicle. In hot ole Arizona the GX would be WORTHLESS. They do have 2 roof vents if you order the 3-row. But the LX700h still has more with 2 rear roof vents for EACH row.
I'm surprised in the Luxury bersion they didn't supply carpeted mats. I get it for my Overtrail having the rubber. I did order carpeted ones but haven't pulled the trigger on swapping them in.
