Spoke to my dealer today and they said other than the fuel pump itself (as it's going into a different tank) the swap would not affect my warranty.
This is gonna happen. ;-)
Filled up tonight. Had 62 miles left on the display. The vehicle took 11.7 gallons which at 16mpg means I likely had 99 miles left on the tank.
Gonna have to run this thing down to 0 and see how much fuel is actually left.
I've been reading about that for a week now and i'm all over the idea.
but my worry is Lexus trying to Eff me regarding warranty if an issue arises down the road and there is a different gas tank mounted to the car.
Thoughts?
we're about 500 miles into our life w the vehicle and let me tell you my wife is THRILLED w the 260 miles on a tank

So far it's my only complaint with an otherwise perfect vehicle.
good question. my wife wants more power. JB4 is being talked about. but honestly....the truck is pretty solid. it's not seeing much off roading so no lift is in my future. Really don't know much of what's out there other than suspension stuff...

The tire is literally the most important part of the vehicle as it is the only piece of your vehicle that actually connects it to the road. be frugal elsewhere. but tires...nope.
Pics don't do it justice....but the difference in the overall stance is extremely noticeable. Looks more rugged and proper now by a mile.
Highly recommend. The spacers i ordered were from Burger Tuning.
