Has anybody else noted that with the Lexus 700h there is a wobble or bouncing that occures when you go over several bumps that are in a row on the road? 😲 Occurs with me in Eco (never use) or Comfort. Found it especially bad in turns.😵‍💫

When the SUV is in S Mode it is better & S+ it is gone.(y)

Put in a "Concern" with the Lexus Dealer. I could see someone easily fliping this thing over/loosing control in a turn with allot of bumps at speed.

I’ve definitely had this bouncing occur. Do you have the luxury trim?

Nope, 2025 F-Sport. In Custom & S+ the wobble/bouncing goes away.(y)

I was hoping someone had taken their Lexus 700h to the Lexus Dealer and had the suspension reset??

With my BMW motorcycle you can reset the height adjustment but, not the suspension settings.

I have the 2025 Overtrail and do not have this issue at all. Do you have the Luxury trim?

Nope, F-Sport. It is actually really bad in Eco & Comfort. Really noticed the issue when I drove off in the dark. You could see the top of the headlights bouncing up & down as I went down the road.😢

An Update:

Took my 2025 Lexus 700h F-Sport into the Lexus Dealer twice to address the Bouncing/Wobble issue/concern. Each time I was given a loaner and each time service Department evaluated the issue of a bouncing or wobble by driving the 700h F-Sport in Eco, Comfort etc. The 1st visit was with a Reg Service Tech. He said they needed another vehicle like mine to compair it to BEFORE they could make a disposition. The Dealer does not have one & aldegly does not have access to one in my area. Then, the Service Department Foreman meet with me and we went out for a drive. After a long drive he agreed that the SUV was handling/driving like a large/long 4 door car from the 70's, apprecated the bouncing/wobble and agreed to check the vehicle out. (y)

At the Second visit the Lexus Shop Foreman did an estensive evaluation. After confirming with the Lexus Engineers on the West Cost several times, he stated/determined that everything on the SUV was up to spec for a 700h F-Sport. There were no errors. However, he again escalated my concerns/issue of Bouncing/Wobbling to the next Lexus level. A Regional Service Rep from Lexus will checout/evaluate my truck in February.

The Lexus Service Department Foreman did convey some interesting facts regarding the 700h SUV:
-The AHC is not adjutable on any 700h and cannot be reset/adjusted with the Lexus Computer.
-The F-Sport is the only 700h that comes with Automatic Suspension Control (ASC). The ASC is on all F-Sports and is set at/by the Factory in Japan. In the past it could be hacked but, Lexus stoped that action. He believes that this bouncing/wooble issue may come from this ASC on my F-Sport.😵‍💫
- I am not the only 700h F-Sport owner that has complained about the vehicles suspension bouncing & wobbling issue. Lexus Dealers are now telling potential buyers of the 700h F-Sport that the suspension on the F-Sport can be a bit more "Softer or Bouncy" than other 700h models.

All I know is unless I am in S+ I own an "Uncle Buck LX.":ROFLMAO:

Coming from BMW M world, I just thought this was how larger SUVs that are more comfortable tuned drive... I'm getting used to it.

Third trip to my Lexus Dealer regarding the suspension issue of Bouncing/Wobbling in Econ & Comfort with my 2025 Lexus 700h F-Sport. Again, I received a loaner while Mr Matt Hennessy, the Lexus Field Technical Specialist checked out my SUV prior to my arrival. He started the conversation by saying he did not experience any of the issues I was complaining/concerned about regarding the suspension settings on my truck. Then, Matt asked me to explain it to him. After the discussion I suggested we go for a drive so, I could point out the issues. The Lexus Dealers Shop foreman came with us.

Mr Hennessy proceeded to drive very aggressively for the entire drive. Hints to slow down the pace a bit were ignored. While on the drive Matt stated that this was how the Lexus 700h F-Sport was set up from the factory and he saw/felt/observed nothing wrong. No adjustments could be made. Mr Hennessy did state that the ride in Regular was allot better than Comfort. Despite my concern about possibly bouncing off the highway in a turn while in Comfort Mode he found no safety concerns. No, our ride did not include going on a highway.

The NC/SC Lexus Field Technical Specialist made the following recommendations:

  • Do not Drive in Econ or Comfort
  • If I could not live with/like the ride of the Lexus 700h F-Sport: Trade in the SUV for a different Lexus model or, Sell the truck (at my expense)

The only positive moment came when the Lexus Dealers Shop Foreman, Ryan Voyles, said after the drive that he was going to file a Dealer customer concern/complaint with the mothership about the suspension issue I had brought forward. Ryan said if enough Lexus owners went through the process & expressed a concern/complaint then, something might be done.

I want to make sure that the owners of the Lexus 700h F-Sport understand what the Toyota Southern Area Office Field Technical Specialist, Matt Hennessy, was conveying to me about this SUV.

-The Pitching or Bouncing/Wobbling that occurs in Econ & Comfort which some consumers experience with the Lexus 700h F-Sport is considered normal by the manufacture. 😲 The vehicle adjusts to this pitching as the vehicle proceeds on the road. 🫨 Mr Hennessy did not consider it a safety issue. He stated the Lexus manufacture was trying to make sure that the driver noticed a distinct difference in each of the 700h driving modes. This had been an issue in other Lexus Models.

This is my 6th LX. I do not agree with the Toyota Service Representative, Matt Hennessy. Driving in Econ & Comfort for me in my the Lexus 700h F-Sport is unacceptable. It performs/feels to me like the springs & shocks on the SUV are bad/failing. Mr Hennessy said I need to learn to accept the change. Fortunately for me others have experienced this pitching issue and expressed real concern.

Since this issue of pitching or bouncing/wobbling goes away when the Lexus 700h F-Sport is in S+ Mode, an adjustment of the Automatic Suspension Control (ASC) present on this F-Sport model could correct this issue. But, as Matt said " This is the way the vehicle comes from the manufacture...We cannot adjust it."
It enough Lexus 700h F-Sport owners complain to their Lexus Dealers & have the Dealer file a written consumer complaint to the manufacture then, an update might be released to adjust the suspension on the Lexus 700h F-Sport .

I appreciate that my Jim Hudson Lexus in Columbia, SC took the time & effort to address my concerns. This consumed my time and their’s. They are indeed a Lexus Dealer that puts their customers 1st.(y)
