Interesting Facets of the LX 700H F-Sport Touring

Just got my 2025 Lexus 700h F-Sport. Investigating I discovered a few interesting facts:

1. The SUV battery is not under the front hood. The LX 700h battery in the F-Sport is in the REAR LEFT hand side fender area. It is a rather large LN40 battery with 685 CCA. You access it by removing the cover on the left side in the rear cargo/seating area.

2. When you fold up the second row seats there is no strap to fold the right side seat assembly. This is conformed in the manual. It states that you are not to drive with the right second row seat assembly up. It could interfere with with an air bag? Guess I am going to have to put a strap in that little compartment?

3. The components to change a tire are as follows. The hand crank is a tool box in the storage are in back area and the jack is in the upper compartment on the left fender well side.

There is only ONE SUN VISOR on each side in the 2025 Lexus 700h F-Sport.

My 2019 LX had TWO ON EACH SIDE.
Kind of freaked out looking for the second visor to block the sun.

Maybe they are just on the Luxury or Luxury Plus?

Correction for no sequring strap for the right second row seat:

- 5/8 inch ROK pack streach strap

- Secure to seat & grab handle

- Fits easly into vacant strap container/pocket on the back of the right second row seat

Worked well for me.

ROK also makes a wider Tie Down model.

Nice! Same holds true for all 700h models. And we too MISS the slide-out or flip-out second visor to block the sun from the side.

I know!! This was an extremely bad decision. I loved the two front sun visors.

Looks like Lexus replaced it with a light.

3rd Row Cargo/Trunk Matt

One of the features I absolutely do not like & wish it was gone is the 3rd Row Seats in my 2025 Lexus 700h F-Sport. What a complete loss of space & excess weight in a Sport Vehicle.

Anyway, since I will be leaving the 3rd row down all the time I wanted a protective cover. Very important to me when picking up stuff at Home Depot or Lowes.

Well I found one.

It is from WeatherTech. Their Trim To Fit Cargo/Trunk Mat https://www.weathertech.com/trim-to-fit-cargo-mat.html?year=2025&source=int) works & fits perfectly.

If you own an F Sport one will notice pretty quickly that the vehicle image that comes up on the SUV dash/instrument panel is a generic 700h not a F Sport

. I was told by my Lexus Dealer that is the way all of the Lexus F Sports come and the image is not changeable.

You can change the color of your vehicle in Settings when it shows the cameras. Pretty cool.

Can this be cut in half for the 50/50 split and not look tacky? I'll be having a seat up and the other down for cargo.
